(This post was last modified: 04-08-2018, 08:23 PM by Remora.)

NOT THE OFFICIAL RULES! Suggested changes :<

“Changelog”
  1. Global Rules
    1. Specified Global Rules apply everywhere, not just in-game
    2. Made “racism” into “use of racist, anti-semitic (nazi), homophobic or other purposefully offensive words”. Because people love to argue.
    3. Expanded “NSFW” to “nudity, gore ot other NSFW content”
    4. Clarified what counts as spam.
    5. Specified “malicious links”
    6. Added “stay civil while arguing, and if an agreement is not met, take it to the forums”
    7. Added permaban for ddos/dox threats
    8. Added using third party programs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage
    9. Made advertising against the rules
  2. General Rules
    1. Removed the “3 minute NLR” because it really doesn’t matter outside of raids and is only used to piss people off or spite them. Specified you cannot revenge RDM or make someone wanted after they kill you.
    2. Assumed that new commands will be added for the other crime adverts...
  3. Adverting Rules
    1. Removed. Integrated into General Rules.
  4. Counter Rules
    1. Removed. Integrated into General Rules.
  5. Building Rules
    1. Building sign is a single rule now. A lot of rules are compressed into one, actually.
    2. None-ways are now one-ways. Bye-bye, materialized fences, and some other common overpowered bases.
    3. Doom hallways are now against the rules. The ones basically every roof base has.
    4. Now only one fading door allowed inside the base to store raidables, because people get confused and use two fading doors to store one raidable.
    5. Specified blocking off other entrances is fine as long as one remains.
    6. Building on the street is now allowed- basing on the street is not
    7. Industrial now needs six people (six buildings in the new map)
    8. The FAQ thread goes into a lot more detail about what is and isn’t allowed. Lots of common bases are now not allowed.
  6. Base Rules
    1. Removed. Integrated into Building Rules.
  7. Raiding Rules
    1. Raiders are now allowed to use one-way props placed by the baser. Punish the baser for using cheap tactics. :3
    2. Specified you can’t raid when it’s obvious there’s no valuables. Specified you can also kill law enforcers outside the base.
    3. Specified you can’t hold the base (unless it’s the PD)
  8. Kidnapping Rules
    1. Specified you need to keep the hostage company and must be actively trying to sell them
  9. Mugging Rules
    1. Specified when you can attack your victim
  10. Other Crime Rules (new)
    1. Explained terror, hit-and-run and stealing separately
    2. Any non-government job except hitmen/assassins can steal now- petty theft is not the same as breaking and entering
Job-specific rules:
Almost every job is able to both steal and print now, with the exception of law enforcement (and printing for doge).
A lot of “useless rules” (“Feel free to own a pet”) have been removed to make things more digestible
Went into more detail for DJ
Assassin and Hitman are no longer allowed to give each other (or other assassins/hitmen) hits, because people like to just give eachother hits constantly and are just a nuisance for everyone who gets killed

Global Rules | These apply everywhere- this means in-game, the forums and on Discord.
  • English is the core language used in this community. Using other languages might result in a kick.
  • Do not purposefully harm the server.
  • Give respect to earn respect. All players must be treated with respect.
  • Use of racist, anti-semitic, homophobic or other purposefully offensive words is strictly forbidden. This includes usernames.
  • Abusing third party programs or in-game glitches/exploits to gain an unfair advantage over other players will result in a ban.
  • Advertising other communities or services without explicit permission results in a ban.
  • Do not promote religious or political viewpoints.
  • Keep things PG. No nudity, gore or other NSFW content allowed.
  • Do not spam. This includes repeating the same message(s) over and over, repeatedly sending messages without valid purpose or playing loud sounds over your microphone.
  • Malicious links - things like IP grabbers, screamers or referral links - will result in a ban.
  • Bullying and harassment will be dealt with strictly. The punishments vary from case to case.
  • DDoS or DOX threats are not taken lightly and result in a permanent ban.
  • Selling in-game items for real money is not allowed and will result in a ban.
  • If you want to discuss any staff members’ decisions, stay civil. If an agreement is not made, take it to the forums. Do not continue to argue in-game.
  • Where rules do not prevail, common sense will.

General Rules | These apply in-game and don’t fit in any of the other categories.
  • Do not damage or kill players without a valid reason. Otherwise known as Random DeathMatch (RDM).
  • You can’t “remember” things that happened before you got killed. This means you can’t revenge-kill or make someone wanted for killing you. Otherwise known as New Life Rule (NLR).
  • You can’t return to your base or attack the raiders if you were killed in a raid, up until the point  Also known as part of the New Life Rule (NLR).
  • Do not use out-of-character information (the global [OOC] channel) in-character/in-roleplay. Otherwise known as Metagaming.
  • You may deny mugs and kidnaps, but you cannot shoot your mugger/kidnapper unless they open fire on you. Often known as FearRP.
  • When you are raiding, PD raiding, mugging, kidnapping, terrorizing, stealing, countering or hit-and-running use the respective commands (/raid, /pdraid, /mug, /kidnap, /terror, /steal, /counter, /hitandrun).
  • You can only counter to save or help people you are basing with (you must share a door or own props within their base). You can counter raids, mugs, kidnaps, hits, hit-and-runs and other peoples’ counters.
  • Government jobs have no cooldown on counters, do not need to advert, and may counter for any person, independent of relation to said person.
  • Do not spam props, entities or tools.
  • Don’t spawn props, use tools or otherwise build on other peoples’ property.
  • Do not abuse props in any way. This includes proptrapping, propclimbing, proppushing, propblocking and propkilling.

Building Rules | Rules related to building and basing in-game, and keeping those fair.
  • You may place a “building” textscreen on your base to become immune to raiding, mugging and kidnapping. This sign has to be in clear sight for every entrance. While you have a building sign, you must be actively building and are not allowed to have any raidables inside the base. You may block the base off with props while a building sign is up.
  • You cannot use no-collided, invisible or full black props in your bases.
  • You cannot build parkour, maze, crouch or jump bases.
  • You may propblock other entrances to a base as long as one entrance remains.
  • As base participant, you are not allowed to shoot through one-way props. A one-way prop is a prop one person can see and shoot through while a person on the other side cannot. Raiders are allowed to use one-way props while raiding. If it gives you an unfair advantage, it’s probably a one-way. Opaque fences count as one-way if the raider has very little room to move.
  • “Doom hallways” are not allowed. These are straight, narrow hallways that make it extremely easy to kill raiders, even without knowing their position
  • Unfair angles in bases are not allowed. This includes things like foot-shooting windows, shooting raiders from above and extremely small shooting windows that only you can effectively use.
  • Keypads and buttons need to be right next to the fading door they are operating. It has to be clear which keypad operates which door. Fake keypads are not allowed.
  • You may only have up to three fading doors to prevent people from entering your base. You are allowed an additional fading door inside too safeguard printers or other loot.
  • Fading walkways/ramps, double fading doors and other fading doors that take more than one EMP grenade or battering ram hit to open are not allowed.
  • You must own every single door in a building if you wish to build there. There are exceptions; these buildings can be split in half.
  • There has to be room for at least two people in between two (fading) doors.
  • You are allowed to build bases on top of roofs. These bases need to be accessible by ramps. Sky-bases are not allowed, and you are not allowed to base atop the fountain.
  • You may only own a single base or building at a time.
  • You may base inside tunnels, but there has to be room for two people to pass each other.
  • You may not base on the streets. Other building is still allowed, within reason.
  • If you have a group of six or more people total, you are allowed to block off the entirety of the Industrial District. Every single door has to be owned by members of your group. Tramps still need to be able to access the dumpster around the corner!
